The best way to tell if a 67 is 50% silver is to put a magnet to it. If it sticks, it's nickel, if it doesn't it's silver.
In my opinion the Capped Bust Half Dollars are pretty undervalued, expensive but undervalued.
Try going to your LCS, I'm almost positive they will sell you common wheat cents for less that 15 cents a piece.
