I did not know that. So, only business strikes are zincolns?
Your gonna have to back up on the photo I can't even tell what I am looking at. It's a copper plated zinc cent, it's most likely plating blisters.
$3050
The proof Lincolns were struck in San Francisco. The possibility of a 2010s Proof may exist, but not a Philly or a Denver.
Actually 3.95 million, my bad. 2.6 Billion was for circulation.
Thanks the whole proof set has the same target toning. I am gonna have to re shoot the Lincoln.
@baseball21 your the closest. I gave $95 for the Morgan.
It's a proof.
$9
I am at $640
Did you get to a scale?
@ddddd I'll post the price of mine tomorrow, after I get settled in at work.
This is a good reference. See if you can match it up to one of these. http://cuds-on-coins.com/indian-head-cent-cuds/
It's definitely an 8A which is a spiked 8's variety. http://www.vamworld.com/1881-S+VAM-8A
The photo of the third side. I would be cautious of calling them a cud, they very well could be a flattened finned rim. Have you attributed the Coin?
Don't get all savy thinking I stole this one, I paid up. It is incredible in hand.
Even though I havn't participated in your threads, I enjoy reading them, you guys are pretty good at attributing these coins, I wouldn't even know...
@Paddy54 A 1A or do you mean a VAM 8a1? I will look it over again.
Interesting, and a well detailed photo by the way. Strike doubling can happen anywhere on the coin. It has the resemblance of being flat and shelf...
This is caused from an over used Die.
