Definitely damaged and that's Roosevelt as Lincoln is on the Cent. Welcome to CT.
A novelty item. Enjoy it as that's about all you can do.
As stated, it's damaged and it was placed in a vise with another coin and there you have a man made after it left the Mint error coin. Welcome to CT.
I went to the market late this morning and when I arrived home there it was! An envelope with my name and address. Forget the food was on my mind...
AU-60? That's a new grade.
Correct! As long as the money has that security thread it will work.
That's what I think as well and that's why I said it will be a variety worth a dollar or two.
That counterfeit pen is a farce. All it does is show that it's federal paper. Take a $5.00 bill sincevit has a thread and bleach it totally white....
Isn't that the truth!
Thanks. My point is they are obviously different but one grade higher doesn't really make a difference in this case. This is a fantastic looking Cent.
Looks like a 62 to me, maybe a 63.
It's PMD.
Not worth grading and a 67 is not high enough either. Here's why, [ATTACH] [ATTACH] That's the price I paid at my local LCS. it's a Wheat Cent...
Very nice!
The first nickel is worse than normal circulation wear and it's just plain damaged. The second one is environmentally damaged.
A great die crack and it looks like it's on a woodie. A definite keeper.
It's plated.
You're welcome and I hope we helped.
Three, we all know that. The owl told us.
I voted 100 because no one else did, I have the right to do so and because I could. I'm not sure what I'm voting for.
