What is the need to use Acetone, if you are using ezest. The ezest is going to discolor and ruin your copper coin. Not a good choice at all.
$275 Beautiful Peace dollar. Glad you posted it.
That's a fantastic Ducat. I would love to own a piece of history like that.
The big spot on the reverse is most likely a stain. The other two to three spots , look like verdigris.
65RD XF 45 on a good day, for the dime.
O/S is overstrike.
Getting a PL or cameo designation on that Lincoln would be a game changer.
That's because it is in an AU condition, to bad for the verdigris on the reverse.
First is too cool! The second seems mint employee assisted to me. Cool O/S!
Definitely a bulk handled.I didn't doubt it, seems to me that a 64 is closer to a 68 grade, if the Bulk handled coins top out at 65.
It looks like it has a very smooth earlier die luster. Nice looking Peace.
@BadThad This one is very mirrored PL. What you see in the fields obv, are from abrasions on the die.

Same here, they were what sold the coin.
@ddddd when these are sent in, do they know what they are grading, bulk VS high grade?
This was already slabbed, that's what I used for my reference.
This one looks plated. I am not seeing any luster to give a silver toned look. It's a good reference for you in your collection.
