In honor of reaching 30,000 posts I'm posting 2 coins. Both are Bust Half Dollars, 1820/19. They are both different so I'll explain when we get to...
Definitely MD
Time to keep looking.
Normal toning
Nice coloring
Minor but a nice worn die.
Nice woodie but what does the reverse look like?
All nice with minor errors.
You're welcome
Yes, you over paid. The first rolls you described is costing you $1.00 a coin while the Denver is at $.60 a coin. Both are on the high side....
Great write up and wonderful history. Thanks for sharing.
It's zinc and therefore it has a thin copper coating. This is a plating blister.
Best wishes in getting this mess straightened out to your satisfaction.
Glad you found what you did.
Just look at the fonts on the date. Nothing like that was in use in 1795. It's fake.
Is anything really unsearched these days? Does the name on the paper roll really mean anything? I think not.
I'm glad to be retired and out of debt. Only a few monthly bills, plenty of food, with piece and quiet. This storm will pass.
I'm thinking NT. Both sides have a soft natural look to them. The colors are not bright and bold but appealing.
X2
No, it's a damaged 7.
Separate names with a comma.
