Have you contacted them about that grade. Very low at a 12. If you resubmit I'd send it to almost anyone but ICG.
Extra piece of metal stuck to the planchet when it was struck. That will be raised but if you look at the neck area it's not raised but indented....

Definitely not a die break. Looks more like a struck through. A little wide but that's okay. Also looks like the very bottom of itchas broken off....

Nice to have especially if you have a number of them and can show the progression of the break. As for value, it's not really worth your time.

That's not a 1943 but it is a 1948. It is also very damaged.
Well aren't we all over the board? Guesses are as low as 20 and as high as 45. That's quite a spread.
The copyright on the folder say 1943. So it should be a few years after that date.
