You absolutely do get them as the baking soda neutralizes the acetic acid (vinegar) it makes carbon dioxide gas. Not sure what the cleaning...

Actually the baking soda would neutrallize the vinegar and you would be using a solution of sodium acetate whick is kind of like salt.
