And I don't mean getting shot. I'll be looking for this coin.
No, but it makes it a bit nicer. It's more fun to own that without the die crack but it's not worth more.
DDD, this type is always caused by a worn die.
Because they are displayed from the highest grade to the lowest grade. Hehe
Evenly toned but the toning is only for eye appeal, not a grade.
What's worse than selling them? Buying one of course.
66 if those scratches are on the case.
All I see is that it was minted from an old, tired, worn out Die. It's otherwise known as DDD as stated.
I'm more at a 35 but I do like it. Welcome to CT.
That's a sweet die crack. Never seen one before. And it's no wonder Lincoln is crying, especially after what he went through.
Hey, I'm already there.
It is fun to build a set this way. It's also your collection so do what you want with it. Build it your way and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
A little damage, a little worn and maybe even a little grease. Just worth face.
I have something else that's really neat but I'm saving that for about another hundred posts. Lol
Thanks, very much appreciated.
Lol, I wouldn't call them vintage as they are a little older than me. Lol
I think the seller found a way to usevold newspapers that they probably picked up at a yard sale. Lol
The grader must have had wisely in their thermos on the day they looked at this coin. It's nice but not a 66 PL.
