That's a double Die clash! And it's a great one.
I'd try acetone.
I think it's 1-2 points low as well. I've seen worse 64's.
That looks like a different coin and how can it be a 62? It should be higher. If you want to nasty, visit my ex mother in law.
Forget eBay and find a decent online coin store.
I stand corrected.
Now that's funny. Glad you recognized the difference.
Here is the largest US coin ever made. It's the Buffalo Nickel. This one is over 3 1/2 inches across. Naturally it's Type or Variety 2, dated...
I can't see that well enough to make a call about it. I think most of us missed that.
In reality, yes it is but if you look at the original posting this Cent is 3/16's of an inch. It's a novelty coin made for fun.
Just damaged
Not having any problems at my bank.
Greasers
A waffle coin would be waffled. Wavy on both sides. Yours is damaged.
No as it starts in LIBERTY and goes through the date. Look at the entire coin and not just one area of it before getting excited. It's just dirt...
Just on Nickels to restore the date. It damaged the coin but you never know what the date is otherwise.
Very nice chips and the torch is cracked at the base. I'm not seeing Doubling.
X2 to both the above
Circulation damage
Looks normal to me. Except for that fingerprint.
