I am going with greaser on this one the roller lines in the planchet are consistent and running the same direction. This doesn't look altered to me.
It looks like it is a partial peg leg proof. Those are some neat die gouges. Might be worth it to have The Ike group attribute it....
A lot of the Denver minted dimes have a deep dark look to them. I have started just taking it as normal for the release.
