I'm almost as green with envy as that green toning. : - )
Nasty posting on CoinTalk...I am really shocked (Not really, just being sarcastic like most 70-year olds). You first posted this before I was on...
But in post 60, you say you lied about your age. I was taking the #67 that you weighed 67 pounds (70-year olds are terribly literal).
He is also offering a dime struck on a cent planchet...another size mismatch.
Taking the price of silver as $14.00/oz and an oz at 31g, if we maintain the dime width at 17.9 mm, a silver dime would be 0.00008 mm thick....
Really skinny?
Absolutely lovely coin, quick question...Halo luster doesn't give a cartwheel effect?
I remember when I first found a Philipino cent with the big US shield...I thought I had found something strange and rare.
So how old are you?

Task for self...what would be the size of a $0.10 coin at the current value for silver?
Nice coin, appears to be a Greek, although the eagle looks Egyptian.
"The "Troll" around here just looked. Sixty-eight...hum? I lied about my age too." So are you 70 or not? Age is a convenient excuse.
7070 albums are beautiful, but I am just putting my examples in 2x2 flips and then putting the flips in a page that holds 4x5 flips.
That's what I thought...very interesting. What does the obverse of the coin look like? I'm sure someone will pop up with some information.
Please be careful Hugh, I don't think anyone on this site is against you, it is just that no one here has had such negative experiences with ha.
Anyone have any info about the Filipino note? I have one also.
What is it overprinted with? Are you refering to the punch mark?
Sarcastic is correct, and doesn't work well for everyone. If you aren't 70, what age are you...enquiring minds want to know.
That's a bunch. Thank you for being a good mother.
