Not to deter the future posters. This is a gun metal gray coin with light pastels. There is more luster present, but I couldn't capture that...
Those are small die chips, I had thought the same thing. They also with that high of magnification and lighting could be a high ridge of luster.
At 5c/25C a piece It's a small fortune. Can't imagine the coins he picked from that hoard.:wideyed:
