Looks a little like Curly of the Three Stooges.
The joke is that people from Kentucky sometimes are slow with education.
Bought my Pergamon cheap considering how dirty, but cleaned up nice [ATTACH] As received: [ATTACH] Photo shows a little bright, but I'm happy
Yeah, not worth anything numismatically, but still fun to find.

Actually I was looking to buy some from some members to do the research on, but no one stepped forward.
A coin caught between the dryer drum and the wall would be abraded unless it is edge on so that it rolls. I find it hard to accept that a coin...
Still find this hard to accept.

I honestly cannot envision why a coin in a dryer would do this...dryers have baffles so the clothes will tumble, and even if they don't have...

I have several 1797 cents that are pretty similar, looks good. $25 seems a little high considering the condition, but not crippling.
Couple of thoughts...Saflips are cheap...$0.25 compared to $0.03...so 8X is no big? Would you pay $136 for a run-of-the-mill American Silver...
The acetone should take care of the tape, but the toning can only be dealt with using some eZest and a Q-Tip carefully.
