I believe these are dated 1957 on the obverse but the actual date the coin was minted is inside the star. Mine has a 58 in the star on the reverse...
Without the reed marks below the eye a 66 all day long. I went with 66 anyways because the reverse is so nice!

No mint sets for 82 or 83. There were some souvenir sets sold from the mint gift shop but nothing in the usual sense.

Mint state is the term they should use. If someone got them in change or even out of a bank wrapped roll, they got them from circulation.

Thanks I got lucky and found it in a 3rd party package cheap and the cardboard holder packaging and heat likely put off gases over a period of time.
