It’s MD with minor damage. Look at the 8 in the date. It’s been scraped.
That’s a new one on me. Never heard of a self easy open set.
Copper is very soft and easily moved. I have a 1947 that looks like a 194T. Very common occurrence on pre 1982 cents.
I posted one in a much lower grade at one time. I just picked this up last month. It’s a solid XF and maybe on a good day a lower BU. You can see...
I’d rather buy a US silver coin over bullion any day, any time.
They have strange coloring.
I have no idea, I just like the amount of different tokens they have. Each lodge seems to be able to do their own thing to certain degrees.
Pam, that’s hilarious. It’s only one cent do I’d keep it just because. Definitely a stain but a fun one.
Me either. They’re all blanks, do to speak. Other than the color and the Whitehead & Hoag they’re the same.
Very smart purchase @Razz and they look decent too.
Another Masons Token that so really liked. Building tools on one side with the all seeing eye at the top. The other side has the Made A Mason...
Congrats on reaching that first milestone.
It’s a minor “ghosting” of the obverse. Nice find.
Shame about all that. The fingerprints are permanently there. The magic marker can be removed but so will the toning. A beautiful blue toning it...
MS-64 on this one
I’m not a collector of commems but I put this at a 63. I felt there were too many marks on the obverse but the reverse is fantastic.
I know, right?
The Mint issued a Matte and a Satin Proof Peace Dollar. I’ve never seen one as I said before. They are extremely rare. This isn’t one of them.
Just trying to give the op something to think about.
I can’t recall ever seeing a satin finish on a Peace Dollar.
