It’s a 1943-D steel cent. PMD above the date and it looks like a rust spot below the date on the rim. Best not to clean it.
1954 to be exact. PCGS, MS-64 with Full Bell Lines. They’re there just difficult to capture. [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]

I’m sure it’s real and the west is affecting the looks.
Not missing the copper layer which is so thin it’s a wonder it covers the zinc at all.
Only teasing about the drinking. I think what you see is difficult to capture in a photo, especially if you don’t know what to look for specifically.
I have to say this since we’re on by the second page: Have you been drinking a little too much? LOL Doubling?
