Haha, I'm glad that we can agree to disagree on this, Lehigh. There's a reason I'll never collect Jefferson's, beyond a couple of Prooflike...
Finally some actual information! Do you know if there was a press release? Or perhaps a video-recording of the luncheon so that I can watch the...
Look man, you're making some claims. I'm asking for evidence or proof; you're blowing me off. Don't turn this back on me. You do this often when...
How old are these holders you guys are referring to? Because I have a drawer full of dozens of old Whitman folders. I just checked them, and I...
Wow, I absolutely would never have guessed 67. My TPG guess of 66 was generous, in my opinion. I don't know what your other 67 looks like, but...
65. I really hope that doesn't have a star. I think it is quite unattractive.
This one has considerably less marks than the other one yesterday that I though the TPG would have called 66. I'm still bothered by the high point...
So you're saying it is environmentally damaged? I wouldn't go that far, it looks to be ok surface-wise.
Nope. It is very slightly misaligned. This is extremely common, especially on smaller coins. It is not worth any premium.
If you know what you are looking for, PL is pretty obvious whether it is in plastic or not. Depending on the date, there are plenty of borderline...

I don't seem to be able to find the threads you mention. Could you provide links? Or photographs? Or names of people we can contact who may have...
Ok, those are some promising links to some abstracts which may prove informative, but the abstracts alone don't help anyone. Have any of you...
1964 Kennedies were stored in a wide range of holders. That gives them a wider than usual range of natural toning patterns and colors. While you...
My first reaction was that it looked ok, but then I started looking more. With the EORs, or the ATs that are supposed to look like EORs, what I...
Definitely sounds like they were glued. I recently inherited a dozen blue folders from my Grandpa when he passed. He had been working on them...

..... If you read through the thread, you'll find you don't have to open it. There is a diagnostic on the obverse.
If the luster is strong, it would probably make 65. It's hard to judge the luster accurately from that picture.
I am guessing that it is probably graded 66. But I wouldn't personally call it anything higher than 65.
