Your coin is worth 3 cents for looking nice, no premium for yours being abraded/overused. In the 50s, ALL the dies were being overused.
In that case, you have your answer to the question in post 2. :) I also do not have strong feelings one way or the other. I usually stick to cents.

I've found buttons, foreign coins, and tokens in my roll searching, and I only search cents. Nothing too unusual.
