    I understand, but my 2005 year of the Rooster also has a series 2006 E88881133D note. My 2017 Year of the Rooster has a series 2013 F88883188D note.

    I think you might be referring to metallic ink and not magnetic ink. That came about in 2003-2004 on the $20. It's also used on the $10 and $50....
