It’s difficult to say from the only photo we have but it looks like it certainly could be. Don’t you agree? The surface doesn’t appear smooth to...
I forgot I had this coin. It’s been mine for over 20 years packed in a box. Not the only one I’ve forgotten I have. Lol
It shows wear on the high spots but it’s clean from damage. Very nice looking in my hand.
You’re not talking a train being on a diet are you?
Like I said, not worth a lot but yes, it is a huge increase over face.
Wouldn’t that be nice. Lol
Many thanks to @John Anthony for that last one. Here’s an 1804 Draped Bust Half Cent. Only 1,055,312 were moneyed but less survive today. It was...
Those are some great looking coins you got there. Wonderful toning.
Very nice woodie pattern but there is something going on near the rim. It’s worth very little but more than face. Welcome to CT.
Very nice coin and write up John.
A common one but nice. Undated but definitely from the Civil War. Liberty with a head dress with 13 stars representing the Union circling the rim...
An 1865 Nickel Three-Cent Piece. The Red Book has 11,382,000 minted. I went through a small box and this was one of the coins that was in there,...
M has a straight line on the left and right post. A W is leaning outwards. Turn is upside down and it just doesn’t look right, at least to me. :)

That’s just where the wear occurred while it was stuck in the dryer.
Counter stamped coins are very collectible, especially the older issues prior to the Civil War.
Definitely damaged and welcome to CT.
It’s called a counter stamp. Not an error by any means as it was applied after it left the mint. It’s considered damage but there are collectors...
Here’s coin #2 of the 11 coins in this set, a 2019-W. Absolutely stunning! It’s the best photos I could get but you should see this one in hand....
Looks like that coin lost its battle with the train.
