Well my idea is already taken, ziplock bags to protect the slab that protects the coin....
Smoothing looks like it was done on the right reverse field & some on the obverse portrait too.

Lol, I haven't bought a new ancient in weeks, I am going to the ANA friday so I have been on the wagon, which is a rare ride for me!
Thats insane..but not surprising. I actually would consider having some of my U.S. and World coins slabbed, some are very nice. But just the cost...
And that's one of my bigger fears, more ancients in plastic along with greater price increases. And seeing Barry Murphy goto NGC is another step...
