I agree, I bought a pair from the mint, but had a bad spot on the peace dollar. I decided to get these instead because I figure it's my only proof...
I'll go with MS62. Shame about the hickey.;)
That nickel is gorgeous, you should be proud. Full steps too.
Got both, one set from the mint and one from pcgs. PCGS is the best.
Even with the finger prints, I'd give it a MS62. Too bad about the finger prints though, that might bring the price down. $80.
What does the reverse look like?
Looks spooned to me.
Think that's overpriced, look at the limited edition proof set.:greedy:
I just checked, the US Mint is still selling these sets. Just might be other very nice coins that are still in packaging.

A friend of mine has this barber quarter. I like the details even though it was cleaned. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
[ATTACH] [ATTACH] My peace dollar has one also.
Just refection off the field.
Didn't see that; it might be. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll have to break the micro out.
My morgan arrived today.
Does this look like grease filled die error or did someone alter this dime. The W in we is also partially missing. Regards.
Received today.
I thought I would revisit this thread because I am amazed at what some friends of mine are paying for American silver eagles. Today's silver spot...
Yes, you were right, the peace dollar shipped from Texas and the morgan shipped fron Tennessee. Regards.
I just wait until the next year and buy one off ebay. Last two years I was able to buy both for $7 and $5 cheaper than the mint was selling them...
