    Proof coins have been made for years...there are PF Large Cents...they don't list them in the Red Book and I don't know why---there are PF Morgan...

    Since it was found in the ground that might tell us why it looks like that...it might also me a real one...but something still tells me to keep on...

    IMO that coin looks like a fake...the die was marked with the line across the die (therefor the crack) and the other side of the die was marked...

    Sorry but I disagree....the fingerprint the many nickes and marks lower the grade...the coin is lightly struck I think and so I do give it the MS...
