I'm still thinking plated...if you have time this week try a jewley store...and ask them to weight the coin....they should be glad to for free....

I don't mean to be rude...but the coin isn't worth the cost of grading. It would cost about $20-$25 to get it graded...and the coin is only worth...

Most of the time you can look at the rim...if you see a copper looking middle...then that is the copper...better known as a Clad coin....but...

I've never used it on copper....but on sliver it can leave a bad looking coin...also nickel... But in this case she/he was talking about dipping...

I bet this is a NH quarter....am I right? If so...this is one of the most common grease filled die quarters of any....its value is just a little...
