Ok…..I took your info and “facts” and tried to pull the coins sold the SAME day from both grading companies. We must guess that all of the coins...
When buying rolls at the bank of State quarters I always check the edge of all of the coins....not only does it show if the coins are older some...
If the rolls were opened then I wouldn't return them...it seems like if you by something and open it then that item is your's.....maybe I'm wrong...
I wrote 3 places....ANACS/Ebay/and the seller and have gotten this info from ANACS. It may or may not be a fake....I've writen the seller asking...

Since the one on ebay has the smudge on it the one in the thread does have a drawing factor....but the one on ebay show what (maybe its the photo)...
I agree that this coin looks real....this error can be faked. Two tips....don't clean it and hold it by the rim (Edge) as if you don't...
I also think that the coin would be better in hand than the photos but from the photos I would grade it AU50. There seems to be some luster on...

Not by a longggggg shot....a half dollar only has .36169 % silver in it....with silver being about $13.69 that means that the silver in the coin...
