Are these scans of the coins??...if not the coin looks like it has a funny color like maybe being dipped and recolored. I would grade it XF/AU...
I think I see some wear but it might just be the photos---and gold is hard for me to grade also but I'm going to go with the same as Zane--AU55....

Well I haven't sent off any to PCI but my dealer sends a ton off to them----he has aways liked them but he said that lately they are getting...
I also have that book and must say that I don't think that it is possible for it to be helpful---the grading is "out dated" now by market grading...

Some series were printed for short ammounts of time and that makes them rarer---I'm not sure what one E is but I'm sure one of the experts will...
