    Scans vs. Pics: 1913 Buffalo 5c, Type 2

    Nabbed this as a buy-it-now for $17! Sellers scans vs my pics. I gave it an acetone bath before. He called it AU, I say it's MS62. Nice luster...

    I think it's XF40, but the TPG'S don't know how to grade this die state properly, so it'll end up in a VF holder.

    It is the high leaves reverse... a tough coin to find yet no one seems to pay a premium for them. PCGS will put that variety on the label, however.
