Nice find even though its fake happy Thanksgiving number 1 it has .v.d.b in the middle bottom of the reverse which was only used in 1909 number 2...
I have seen this before its damage a master fake error coin and can you explain how this would happen at the mint? have there been any true error...

It's a tie between the Buffalo and v-nickel these are not the exact coins but the year of them/ my uncle gave me his circulated 1907 V nickel...
I think he ment to say weird finish but it seems to be just toining if thats what he is referring to the odd color.
Its value?common date morgan but its uncirculated and has two uncommon errors so whatever you get for it in auction $300-$500? Hard to tell
It looks real but with those errors it seems to be to good to be real like it needs to be certified by ngc/pcgs for authentication/value...

It says 1982 / this type doesn't just appear on the 1984 and 82 alot of other cents have this same type of doubled ear but they all look a little...

All I see is md it has taken alot of hits in its almost 40 year lifetime. I think you are mistaking the hair pattern and damage for a doubled ear.
I really like that large cent keep it up/ complete that set.

Its a common date with a mintage of 17,000,000-18,000,000 is it because you just want it as a hole filler for now?
