Wow, the amount of in-depth looking that you guys and other serious collectors do on these die strikes is amazing...looking at the lift...looking...
Joe, what do you think of this one, same characteristics but 2 grades lower in an MS-63:...
Silver is silver so it's not like you are getting something illiquid. HOWEVER...if you want the greatest ease of selling, it's going to be what...
Thanks SD.....got it....any other coins where the 'die pairs' are ID'd ? I'm unaware of any other coin where it is done or anybody tried to do...
I sent in an offer -- a "stink bid" if you will -- and got countered with the guy minisculely coming off his price. I saw another 1884-O MS63...
How did you sell them ? 1-by-1...or bulk ? And where did you sell it ?

Didn't think of that, thanks !
No, MD, what I meant by submittance bias was those with coins that are very nice and which ALREADY exhibit PL or DMPL qualities are the ones most...
Wow, that is low....any reason ? Did they change the coinage/mintage process that year ? Lower-quality silver ?
Noted ! :D Gotcha....to me, an 'investment coin' for a classic would be something that is <5%, maybe 10%, premium to spot gold. So for the 1924...
I don't know about that, SD, I think they are considered numismatics but it's a smaller base of collectors than that for Morgans since the entry...
