While I agree with all of that (and posted my own thread on it...linked below), I have seen NGC be quite casual with the star in the past few...
I’ll have a post later tonight, but anyone can jump in if you have something ready.
The have a verification tool on their homepage: http://www.icgcoin.com/ And a population search: http://www.icgcoin.com/population-search/
@BlueCole this must have been quite the find! Hopefully you won’t wait 16 years for your next post! :D By the way, does that set the record for...
I'm sure if I used the NGC photo we would see people guessing AU Details-Polished :p
The obverse (and semi-PL is what I said)
See above :) (PL qualities) And I bought it as-is (I didn't send it in). One can argue that it might only be a 63, but it's not lower than that...

Seems like you might make the seller happy...maybe this whole thread was started to get someone to buy that coin and prove the OP wrong? The...
Please guess the grade. :) [ATTACH]
Nah that title would go to the infamous 1909 VDB cent that was erroneously graded (or labeled incorrectly-according to some) as a proof (that made...
$82.63 I'll guess the fee and someone's bid made it an uneven amount :D
Anyone have something?
It could be that the coin turned in the slab (or some contaminant was left on the surface before it was slabbed). And it might just be the ugliest...
