It’s dated 1833 so it’s a great find.
Sounds good to me. Have fun while enjoying yourself. :)
Just a well worn coin so the rim is worn into the missing letter. Actually it looks like a small portion of the L is ther.
It took a hit on the first 5.
Unbelievable fake and from honest Johnny with a 100% rating. Someone’s nuts and it’s not me.
Best wishes on getting this book.
Despite the conditions of the coins I’d be happy that I found them. They just don’t make them anymore.
Best wishes in your search for these.
It could be but I can’t tell from your photos. Also, please post the entire coin showing both sides, not just a piece of the coin. And no...
Younn be learn from your mistakes but keep the coin for a number of years and I’m sure it will be higher in value than it is now.

Hawaiian coins are not my thing but that is a very nice looking one. Glad you are pleased with the addition to your collection.
An Acetone soak would be best. Do not use nail plush remover. Use industrial grade acetone and let it soak.
Can you send to the TPG for correct attribution?
If I had $3500 of your money, sure I’d buy it. Why not? It’s not my money. Lol
Nice strike through! A fun find for sure.
That’s a definite pass. The obverse is horrible and you can do much better. This is not a tough date.
No problem. Just want the OP to see how the clash occurred and what he’s looking at. Thanks for the Shield overlay.
Nice but his cent is a Shield Cent. Do you have the overlay for a Shield?
Yes, it’s a die clash of the 13 bands on the shield. Nice one.
