Came from a little collectibles shop in Tennessee. Not sure who they bought it from. Someone's bequest, probably.
Those rim dentils, tho!

Dunno. But I would never crack it myself. Crossover... maybe. But a lot of folks love the charm of the old white ANACS holder.
I'm thinking AU53, but mint errors are graded differently, so who knows?
IMO, NGC used to be easy on bust halves, but nowadays they are exactly on par with PCGS. Unfortunately, those years where they gave XF45s an AU53...

I don't know what I'm doing with it yet. But I cannot find it's equal.
How rare? I can only find a few past auctions, and not much in high grade. How did this happen with the minting process? Anyone know? Thanks.
Double struck bust halves? A collection? Where????
Can't see the rim for the holder! ;) [ATTACH]

Your opinions? Best I can do with my phone for now.[ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
What do you think it would grade today, Larry? I see lack of luster and much more circulation than is typical AU58. But maybe I'm wrong.
