Yes the photo is better. Unfortunately there is a very large bridge between the 4th and 5th steps under the third pillar. No full steps for this...
I agree, I think Barber coins look great in the circulated grades. [IMG]
An outstanding thread. I only hope you are putting the same dedication into your studies as you did this thread. Really well done! Fantastic!
The photos are a little blurry but I see a nice untoned MS65 Jefferson Nickel. No way I can grade the steps with those photos.
When trying to determine whether a coin is NT/AT there are many factors you should consider. You have correctly pointed out the the color...
Zohar, I love your collection. I consider it a real treat to see your new purchases. Keep em comin!
I would agree with MS64. It appears to have decent luster from the photos and the only real significant mark is on the chin.
No, I said you couldn't grade. I made that comment based on your foolish belief that a piece of plastic is what determines the value of a coin....
I translate that to mean that you can't grade raw coins on your own and won't pay price guide prices because you don't have any faith in your own...

Nailed it right out of the gate. Congrats to both Marh H and Traumafindr for hitting this one on the head. [IMG] This coin is one of those that...
How about just applying your own logic to your own argument. You readily admit that most of what you see on the show is staged and is the most...
Ruben, The toned coin market is doing very well to the dismay of all the naysayers who claim that it is a fad. There has been considerable...
Do you think I made that number up? It came straight from the mouth of the old man during a recent episode. He was complaining that the profit...
Doug, While I understand your point and agree with you to a certain extent, I promise you that nobody (including you) would look at my coins in...
I think while criticizing the ethics of others you shouldn't use a racial epitaph in the process. Pawn shop owners low ball everyone because...
