I can say with 100% certainty this coin has not been AT'd. Unless it was AT'd before 1920-30. It's been in the family since then sitting in a box.
What do you think?
I bought it raw as a close AM.
I've only ever heard of one being sold by ha.com. As I recall it was PF-67 and it went for about $950. So, should I decide to sell, I think this...
Yea, my dealer submitted it and specifically put CLOSE AM on it. NGC just dropped the ball. He's going to call them next week and try to get it...
What's this coin worth? Is it anything special? Thanks
Yours is a nice example too. Here's one that I have: [img] [img] [img] [img]
One of the rarest of all Lincoln cents. I finally got my coin back from NGC. Too bad the knuckleheads missed putting the attribution on the...
Just do a lot of searching, you'll find some eventually. :D
Nah, it's just a plating issue. Thanks
Great deal! I've been looking to unload a couple SVDB's and I could use the $2! Thanks OP!
Yes, this is a Zincoln. The browning of copper is mostly due to exposure to organic substances such as skin oil. I believe this coin saw heavy...
Some nice Memorials!
I did, they are not correct. LOL Look at them starting at the tip, they are not pointed, the one on the right is completely rounded, they are too...
Again, pics too small for authentication. The color of the VDB is not right, the reverse is completely inconsistent with the obverse. If that's...
I love grading these. This coin is of higher grade than you might think. It's at least EF - AU.....the pictures aren't good enough to say anymore...
The wheats are completely wrong....along with many other things.
Very cool! I love all things Lincoln! Do you have a machine near-by?
I've found quite a few of these roll searching....but never a brown one. Even a bit of verdigris to go along with it. LOL
Pretty cool elongated cents!
