No, It was in a collection I bought this morning... I'm not sure where they got it from. Value wise those usually bring a premium being so far off...

I think this is where the similarities end. Stocks for the most part have one set price. Coins have many different prices for the exact same item....

I agree with that completely. If a raw coin worth more then $200 or so isn't in a slab already there is usually a reason behind it.

No unfortunately this coin has been cleaned and possibly replated to make it look nice and shiny.
the cheek looks clean... those first pictures weren't very flattering
I could have seen that coin in a 65 holder... but im not sure I like it (from those pics at least) in a 66 holder.
looks like it was probably polished at some point... not enough there to tell for sure if it's even authentic. I'd need a closeup of the date and...
