There is really no way to tell how pure the piece is without a melt assay... the older fakes are mostly of the proper mixture... the newer...
BTW it was 3 different DDR's.... 2 of which came out of the same 2 boxes.

The coins were struck like this until someone noticed it and the broken dies were pulled from use. There are quite a few of these particular cuds...
