With a 180* rotation you just turn the book upside down but with a 360* rotation you’d have to do a cartwheel to be in the correct position. :)
Nice find! My bat quarter has a strike through but it’s not a W.
Only the last 5 is doubled and it’s known as a Poor Man’s Doubled Die. It’s double from a tired worn die so not a true doubled die.
Your cent was damaged after it left the mint. Not an error and nothing in the coin minting process could cause a coin to look like this. Welcome...
WOW! A 180* rotation. Nice error.
I only have my cell phone and when I had it in an angle it looked liked a 0 but it could be a 2, 9, 8 or 0. This needs to be a held in hand coin...
I think you did very well on her.
Nasty Milk Spots is what they are commonly called.
I gotta go with a MS-65 on this one. Just looks a little stronger than a 64.
Nice looking and yes that’s a rim cud. Nice pickup. It is a thought coin yo obtain. I have one but it’s in G condition.
My comment was based on it being a clad as I couldn’t read the date or mint mark. My eyes are very tired from all that I’ve been doing.
Nice finds for CRHing. I’m thinking the 196? is a zero making it a 1960-D. That’s my best guess. I especially like the Spitting Horse Quarter,...
Are they going to let you on the plane with all that loot? You did great and I’m sure your wife and you had a wonderful time, despite the rain....
If I said what’s on my mind I’d be deleted from CT permanently.
Photos do wonders to assist us in helping you. I’m thinking the coin was coated in another metal.
I would say they are destroyed but can be used as change. Not worth putting any money into to o try and restore them.
It’s a very nice strike through. Nice find!
Not an error. It was subjected to heat and it CSA used the blistering that you see.
Sounds like you had a great time at the show. I was hoping to get a report about it. Nice toner you posted.
Those are neat coins. Glad you found them as you don’t see them very often.
