Guilty as charged. :hail:
With the disclaimer that the pics aren't large enough for me to be confident, I'd guess (at least) 65 Prooflike...Mike

No I don't think you're wrong, but I think you will find that a significant percentage of AU 62s and 63s are really just eye-appealing AUs (or...
No I don't think you're wrong, but I think you will find that a significant percentage of MS 62s and 63s in slabs are really just eye-appealing...
Very interesting. I always (apparently erroneously) thought of rub as just light wear, not to be confused with "cabinet friction" which you...
AU 55 because of high point "wear" and a few too many field disturbances. ;)
Color me ignorant, but what's the difference between rub and wear? At least the way I use the terms, they are synonymous...Mike

I respect GDJMSP's opinion more than most, but in this case I disagree. High-point rub does not disqualify a coin from MS grade. The grading...
I'd grade it a 63, but I think the TPGs would likely grade it 64. Nice strike on it too! Thanks for sharing...Mike
I disagree. IMO, the weakness in the stars and dentils is NOT from polishing. Polishing (or lapping) would not cause that. The stars are weak...
