It is! I just didn’t notice it. I was looking at the coin. Lol
I never looked at the number, just the coin. :)
Exactly! And I’m like, what? Then I started thinking Capped Die?
He sure did. Thanks.
Here’s what the coin was graded by PCGS years ago. It’s another coin that I’ve had for 25 plus years and forgot about. Obviously the label is as...
Definitely not a die break. And I don’t think it would grade a MS-68 but it would probably grade a MS-65, maybe a MS-66.
MS-64.
You should read the link I posted on this subject. It’s very informative on the 1964-D Peace Dollar.
Very nice but what does that coin have to do with a radar? Am I missing something?
I got it right away.
Now I’ve really lost all interest in this coin. Lol
@JustAnotherCoin This article should tell you all you want to know about the 1964-D Peace Dollars. https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1964-d-1/507956
12344321 is a radar. So is 101.
Try a soak in acetone, not a dip. Soaking won’t hurt the coin.
Thanks. I was wondering if it was centered or slightly off for one thing. I know it’s difficult to see but the first few letters in AMERICA appear...
I have the Red Book. Never needed the Blue Book.
A very nice incomplete planchet on your Indian Head Cent. The coin making process was much different then than it is today.
Yes it is.
Me too and I made a 66.
@paddyman98 Can I get your comments please?
