Among other things, the date is all wrong.
Pretty simple. If you are not satisfied, return it.
To some people, it is not about money. Personally, I'd rather sell a mint set to a collector than ruin it by introducing it into circulation.

My sense is it is post mint damage of a matron head or matron head modified (1816-1839) large cent. You can tell it is not a later date large...
