Can you take some pics of the coins. I like Presidential Dollars and would like to see some PCGS MS67's.
None taken, but I hope you were trying to set me up with that question about it being AT.
So we can see it. [img][img]
If I thought your avatar was AT, I would have included that information in the E-Bay listing, like I did with this one. [IMG]
Because those colors are not consistent with what is accepted in the market as natural toning. All of the sellers items bear a very similar...
Yes, and the seller discloses such in his listing. He is a well known peddler of AT coins on E-Bay. PS: Nice Avatar!
Either way, it tells me that grading is subjective and that even within the TPG's there is a divide about what separates AU from MS.
Yes, I did. Why don't you stop beating around the bush and tell us why you think your nickel is special.
It is a standard circulated war nickel. What info are you looking for?
I think we are interpreting his images differently because you and I are normally on the same page when it comes to Jefferson Nickel grading.
Here is an NGC MS67. [IMG] I think his coin might be cleaner and better struck.
Here is the first PCGS MS65 that I found on Heritage [img] [img] I see far more marks, less luster, and a much mushier strike.
I would post an MS65 1940-D but I don't own one. The point is that the surfaces of the OP's coin are consistent with those of a premium gem coin....
Greg, Do me a favor and compare the elements of grading between the coin you just posted and the OP's.
That's actually pretty funny. You should posted that photo that Detecto posted with a dog and a caption that said "I dunno"
Or perhaps you are thrilled by acquisition rather than ownership. Face it, your a NEWPer!
Yes I was talking to Detecto.
My advice was going to be to tell you to sell them all and then contact a dealer who specializes in CBH's, like TomB, and tell him you want a nice...
That was hilarious! Biggest smile I have had all day, thanks Mike.:D
Where? Guys, this is what an MS65 Jefferson Nickel looks like. [IMG]
Separate names with a comma.
