I have nothing to add except I really like that coin (well, except for the graffiti)!
Either that, or someone to come along thinking they are cherry picking, only to get saddled with a below average coin for a below average price. ;)
I'm not comfortable making that distinction from the photos, but like Greg's post above, I am a bit concerned about the hits (even in a 66 grade)....
Impossible to tell -- Heritage's photos suck, and the differences between a 66 and 67 are difficult (for me) to tell in-hand much less a photo....
I think it is not a proof -- I'd expect the L in liberty to be quite crisp and less flow-lines in the fields -- but I'm anything but an MPL...
Lastly, and perhaps most to the point, consider this: 5. I noticed that CAC uses the term “premium quality” to describe coins that receive a...
Here's also what the CAC says about their grading (bold emhasis mine): WHAT THE CAC STICKER MEANS: • Verified. Your coin has been verified...
As I'm sure you will acknowledge there is a big difference between "select quality coins" and "high end for the grade" and "on a good day it would...
I suspect the coin is fake. The date looks all wrong to my eyes. :(
Please post good pictures when the coin arrives. For the record, and sight unseen, I'd say chances are the coin is a countefeit. I hope luck...
p.s. a 64 comes as a bit of a surprise to me. I wonder what problems we're not seeing in the photos.... The fields/luster seem more than clean...
That is not, at all, what the CAC sticker indicates. All the sticker indicates is that the CAC agrees with the grade...>Mike
Should YOU be deciding what's right for your collection? That asked, I see the coin in a 64 holder, only because PCGS is very reticent to put...
XF 40 details, cleaned, net VF.
I don't care for the coin, but more importantly if the reverse strike bothers you, I think you shouldn't buy it. Secondly, "reasonably priced"...

I like all 3! :D
Congrats on the NEWP.
Obverse looks clean enough to be a 66. Not so sure about reverse. I'll guess 66.
p.p.s. here's a great way to tell a proof from a prooflike MS strike. Look for reflectivity (i.e. mirrors) inside the shield on the reverse. The...
