It is real and from the photos you have shown I think it might grade higher than what is on the 2x2. Luster is very important in the gem grades...
It is a little difficult to diagnose it as whizzing from the photos but it should be evident that the surfaces have been altered in some way....
If you don't think it is a problem that experienced members stop posting on the forum, then you are a bigger problem than I realized....
I see some high point wear and I also think the coin was cleaned. My grade is AU Details, Cleaned.
