Here’s a really nice 1967 Kennedy Half Dollar. Graded by PCGS as a SP67CAM. It’s also a Special Mint Set coin. That makes it a 40% silver coin....
Full pics of both sides are much more helpful. In this case it looks like a worn die minted it.
I can see faint traces of the letters and that’s because it was minted with grease or debris on the die in those areas.

If all the coins are in their original packages I’d leave them as is. Any Quarters that are golden in color are probably toned.
