It's a victim of circumstance. I can't you tell what actually happened to it, but I can say that it didn't come from the mint like that.

No, I didn't open it. The marks move when the coin moves within the cello. I'm afraid to open it as I'd probably mess it up.
Most, if not all, of the marks are on the cello wrapper. In hand, the coin looks very clean.
