Has anyone found a Type B quarter contained in a US Mint set? If so, what years? I have four 1959 and two 1960 Mint sets with Type B Washington...
Check any 1956-1964 P's for the Type B reverse; they will be worth more than melt for sure regardless of condition. BTW: Very good deal! TC

Nice pics. The distinct notches on several letters makes me think these are legit doubled dies more than machine doubling, but I am no expert...
This may be too simplistic of a reason, but perhaps the 1959 DDR caused someone in charge to nix the practice for 1960. TC
