Fatter than normal could be due to the age of the die. Your first pics showed evidence of doubling, the newer pics don't. Sorry.

Take a close-up of the WHOLE coin, with the coin parallel to the lens. Use a tissue to diffuse the light to eliminate the glare.
Welcome to CT. Take some time and make some effort to learn about the minting process and you will find that this is definitely not a minting error.
