Definitely the wheat back , the new shiild could have been a great design , but they made it look like a cartoon insigna designed by a 12 year old .
Now I'm wondering if those dark areas on the top of the right wheat on reverse are just shiny spots and relecting light or real dark areas ?...

I doubt if those marks are even that visible without o loupe , or barely so . Guess we'll see .
Another sweet coin , with a small nick above Lincolns eye the only blemish that could lower it from a 67 .
Love this coin and it's color , I'm thinking 67 , but I'm not sure how visible that mark on lincolns forehead is . Maybe a high 66 .

Finally got both right , sweated this one out as I wasn't sure how much that reverse scratch would lower the grade .
From what I've learned here , is they don't affect the grade . Dick could answer it better as he's seen more and knows more about grading Lincolns...
If the scratches you're talking about are the ones in the field , they are raised die lines from polishing the dies , thus won't or shouldn't...
