Looks like scratches or other damage on the coin making them look like letters. as @ken54 said; pareidolia.
Judging from your photo I don't see any errors. It would help a lot if you would tell us where you see the error.
I've seen Fred's posts (and possibly articles) and knowing his expertise on error coins never doubted anything he wrote including his questioning...

I don't consider myself knowledgeable re Doubled die coins. The only ones I would be able to identify are the 1955, 1969-S, & 1972 Lincoln cents....
