That doubling on the left bottom outside of upper loop on the second 8 seems to occur on more obverse dies than not.
Good point, I didn't even notice the absence of "Uncirculated"
I'm not aware of any VAM for 83-CC that brings a premium. This one looks like a 5B. Someone wanted it more than someone who really wanted it bad. ;)
I like the color as well. Premium worthy toning plus it's a VAM-8 equals double bonus points in my opinion. Nice pick!
I cherry picked one of these late last year and passed it on to a friend that is building an 88-O set. It landed in a PCGS MS64 slab has and...
I should have known by "You're killing me Smalls" that it's bag rub.o_O Nice pick. ;)
That poor bird..AU61
The meaning is also suck. I picked that one for use on CCF. "You suck" is not allowed, family friendly you know...;)
I think that little tic on the nose held it back from 68. Cool error and sweet pick!
62PL maybe 63
You imbibe.:p

It looks like a medium S to me.
Easy 64 and quite possibly 65 and if it's an old Accugrade I'll wager PL.
Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus. I'm in. :)
I'd consider the Grapevine show were it not for a prior commitment to attend Oktoberfest in Fredericksburg TX. Off to pack my lederhosen..:woot:
You'll never look at a Morgan or Peace Dollar in same light. :)
The NGC slabbed coin is much nicer for the grade than the OGP encased graded example. It's all about the coin when it comes to CC Morgans for me...
